Evan Armit was more than just a hockey player, he was family. From the moment he joined our home as a player for the Middlesex Islanders, Evan brought warmth, laughter, and an unshakable positivity that touched everyone around him. He became a big brother, a mentor, and a true friend.

Even as Evan faced his battle with metastatic melanoma, his strength and spirit never wavered. He continued his classes at Worcester State University, stayed connected to the game he loved, and inspired everyone with his courage and determination.

Evan’s impact reached far beyond the rink. He showed what it means to live with purpose, kindness, and heart. His love for others and his resilience through adversity continue to inspire everyone who knew him, especially Matthew, who will always cherish their brotherly bond.
